RhinoChem 2170 – Rhino’s Premium Chemical Resistant Lining

To classify RhinoChem 2170 in one word that would have to be “Excellent”.  It has excellent resistance to weather, to corrosion and especially to most chemicals.  An elastomeric polyurethane containing no Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C’s), no solvents and is 100% volume solids.

Its elastomeric properties allow for application to surfaces subject to;  flexing, expansion, movement, contraction, vibration,  corrosion and chemical exposure.  RhinoChem 2170 will bond with virtually any surface, is stable in temperatures from –10°C to 100°C and reduces noise transmission. With a gel time of around 20 seconds in ideal conditions you can apply RhinoChem 2170 at any desired thickness in one application, to any surface at any angle and know that you are getting complete coverage.

RhinoChem 2170 eliminates the need long drying periods between coats, eliminating costly down time allowing you to get back into daily operations sooner.

RhinoChem 2170 is ideally suited for use when high levels of chemical resistance are required. It is an impervious monolithic secondary containment coating for concrete and many other substrates.
